APRIL 23-25:"Lessons From Ramayana" - A weekend dedicated to Lord Rama

Dear Friends,

Hare Krishna!

After a cold, snowy and white winter, it is indeed a blessing to get some sun and see the ice melt. Along with this, Lord Rama is also bringing one more gift for all of us:

"Association of Dr. Sadhu" : HG Rohini Priya Prabhu. Most of you met him last year when he was on his US tour. Prabhuji, is blessing Pittsburgh again this year from

Apr 23rd to Apr 26th.

The theme of his lectures will be "Lessons from Ramayana". He will take us into the depths of the Ramayana and help us discover fresh and practical lessons for us to

Use in our daily lives. Please note that he will speak on topics that were not covered last year.

He will conduct 3 open "Katha" Sessions on Fri Apr 23rd, Sat Apr 24th and Sun Apr 25th.  A Q&A session will be held on Mon Apr 26th.

Along with prabhuji's discourses during the "Lessons from Ramayana" weekend there will be bhajans, Drama's and Dinner Prasadam during all the three sessions.

Please mark your calendar dates and don't miss this golden opportunity to get FULLY INSPIRED for a healthy and joyful summer 2010.

May the blessings of Lord Rama make our lives and our consciousness in sync with "Rama Rajya".

Yours in the service of Lord Rama,

Shyamsundar Das.

Reminder - Holi-Gaura Poornima in Pittsburgh on Sunday, March 7th 5:00PM (Dormont Hall)

Dear Friends,

Hare Krishna!

Its time to get creative in the service of the lord. This Sunday at the Holi festival you will get the unique opportunity to see the deities playing Holi.  After the lord has played with colors, the devotees will also get the opportunity to play with colors.

Please visit at http://folkpgh.com/2010/03/please-join-us-to-celebrate-holi-gaura-poornima-in-pittsburgh/ for flyer.

Along with this, you will also have the opportunity to make a personal bhoga(food) offering to the lord. We are planning to make a offering of 108 preparations.

This will be realistic because we need each offering to be only a "Bowl full".  Gokul Priya mataji will be co-ordinating this effort. It will be nice to have a variety and not duplicate the offerings.

If you would be interested in bringing offering, please write to Gokulpriya mataji at gokulpriyadd.rns@gmail.com and have her put you item on the list.

We will keep you posted regarding more details of the festival.

For any questions please feel free to contact Vanamali Gopal Das at vbgummadi@yahoo.com .

DON'T MISS THE UNIQUE ABHISHEK, PLAYING WITH COLORS AND MAKING AN OFFERING TO THE LORD.

This will be an open festival. Please bring family and friends.
